Even if the highway must be crossed at the beginning and in the end, the path crosses the area of the old Alemagna road and it is on Romea’s trail, which intercepts after Ospedaletto in an area where hills and mountains melt together. It is characterised by big hydro products and by the butterfly fairy tale.
This variation ignores – where possible – the current SS 463 Alemagna: the path is quite easy; it has limited rises and two crossings of the highway; in Venzone area you can possibly connect to the Alpe Adria cycle path.
